Consumer Freedom

I saw a link for a website called PETA Kills Animals.
It seemed pretty strange, because I don’t think that they actually kill animals. So I looked into who ran the site, its a group with an appropriately sinister Orwellian name: The Center for Consumer Freedom.

They host websites like Obesity Myths, Trans Fat Facts, and Mercury Facts.

All those things you thought you knew: MYTH!

Like despite the overwhelming evidence that obesity is tied to diabetes. Yeah… it’s just a myth.

So this is clearly an ad firm promoting big business, who do harmful things… or its a thinly veiled prank.

Either way, it seems like deception is going on. Unless of course, I’ve been deceived by every other source on the planet. Hey it could happen… (McWorld?)
