Au Revoir Moscow, Bonjour open road
I’m leaving Idaho after a great eleven weeks at our Summer Commune.
We are driving to Portland now. Then up the coast to the Olympics, over to Lopez Island, down to a campsite near that cafe from Twin Peaks, then Missoula, then a dude ranch in Wyoming, then Rapid City, then Iowa City, then St. Louis, then a few days at Nicole’s family home in Clarksville, Tennessee.
We’ll drive back to California by September 20th. I have a week to recover then the Canadian tourism commission is flying me to Winnipeg for an arts + culture junket, then hauling me across the continent on the train. Hanging out in Halifax then learning to river dance at a Gaelic Festival.
Am I just telling this to you to brag? Yes in part, but you probably have some travel advice on destinations to check out on my route. Or maybe you are somewhere along the way and want to hang. Hit me up.
